Showing through the end of the month at Howard Griffin Gallery is a new solo from Giacomo Bufarini a.k.a. RUN, a followup to his show with the gallery last year (covered). The Italian artist has made his name painting his iconic characters around the world with their recognizable large heads. For Man Is God, he takes this to the next level with large three-dimensional representations that almost take on a sacred feel like the Easter Island heads. This installation is surrounded by ceremonial banners that cover the walls from floor to ceiling filled with RUN’s imagery remixed as religious iconography.
