NASA recently released a video they call Perpetual Ocean which tracks all the ocean currents from around the world. This year’s G40 Art Summit, put on by Art Whino, will be held in Richmond Virginia and will focus on the “Art of the Mural.” Thirteen street muralist from around the globe (2501, Angry Woebots, Aryz, El Mac, Gaia, How & Nosm, Jaz, Jesse Smith, La Pandilla, Lelo, London Police, Pixel Pancho, ROA, and Scribe) were invited to unleash their creativity on 20 large scale walls in a 10 block radius. Flying Murals of Wynwood

You may remember some photos that Futura sent us that we shared with you last month painted for Art Wynwood. That large painting, along with work from Retna, How & Nosm, DAZE, and Aiko was destined to be displayed at the Miami fair last weekend above as part of the flying murals of Wynwood project over the VIP lounge area. On January 28th, a unique art event will open at the Pima Art and Space Museum in Tucson, AZ featuring the work of over 30 artists. A couple nights ago, the Primary Projects space in Miami’s Design District hosted Here Lies Georges Wildenstein, a group show featuring Marc Bijl, Retna, Michael Vasquez, Miru Kim, Cleon Peterson, George Sánchez-Calderón, Manny Prieres, Andrew Nigon, Scott Shannon, Christina Pettersson, Shelter Serra, How & Nosm, Kenton Parker, Cole Sternberg, Edouard Nardon, & Jel Martine. As the Underbelly Project preps for the festivities for Art Basel Miami Week, word comes (via Brooklyn Street Art) of another satellite undertaking in Paris. Looks like Wynwood Walls is again the place to be for street art fans when Art Basel Week arrives in Miami next week.
