AM is crazy about art, but we also appreciate many of the other finer things in life. However, sometimes our art obsession leaves little time to think about anything else. That’s why we were happy to see that California’s Kenwood Vineyards has come up with a way to simultaneously enjoy urban art and wine that is much better than the previous method of drinking “Mad Dog” on the streets of Williamsburg. For the 30th installment of their artist series, Kenwood has collaborated with Shepard Fairey to release a 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon/Malbec blend (bold and fruit-forward, we’d assume), bottled with a label depicting Fairey’s Peace Woman image. And for a nice touch, the bottle’s foiled top is printed with a subtle black-on-black obey pattern. If you live in a state that allows alcohol to be shipped to a private citizen, the wine can now be order here for $75 a bottle. Cheers!
