AM was pleased to see a visit this week from NY based artist Olek (featured), we don’t often get to see a crocheted cab on the streets of London! Great fun and very impressive. So, it was good news to hear that January next year Olek will be crocheting the entire gallery space of Tony’s Gallery and live there. Sounds like a show not to be missed.
We have also seen work going up by Colombian artist Bastardilla over the last couple of weeks, painting a wonderful mural on POW Gallery and other locations. Another nice surprise to stumble upon was Sickboy and Portuguese artist Hium’s pieces as well as a new piece from Ben Eine titled London Riot. Shoreditch regular Malarky has once again been out and about, painting a big wall with his distinctive popular style characters and a Halloween bat on Village Underground panels. Mobstr also made an appearance with his stenciled ironic messages, and, upon hearing that Dabs Myla and Dscreet had painted a wall in Dalston, we set out to grab some pics of these big juicy letters, and came across a few other bits along the way.
