This Sunday, POW! WOW! Hawaii (more info here) kicks off with a re-occurring show curated by Thinkspace at the Honolulu Museum of Art School entitled Exploring The New Contemporary Movement (see 2016 & 2015 & 2014). As in the past, the format is 12 x 12″ works, leading to a visually congruent display of artworks, some of which were inspired by island life. Oak Oak will also be presenting an installation as part of the exhibition and Shok-1 will be the featured artist.
