Looking forward to this show at Thinkspace on November 7th not only because Audrey Kawasaki is in it, but also because she is curating it. It seems that artist curated group shows (others that come to mind include Luke Chueh and Travis Louie) usually include some very good names from their genre for some obvious reasons. Audrey’s assembled cast is no exception – Stella Im Hultberg, Amy Sol, Kukula, Brandi Milne, Brian Viveros, Catherine Brooks, Mari Inukai, Nomi Chi, Lauren Albert, Jessica McCourt, Julia Sonmi Heglund, Eveline Tarunadjaja, Meg Hunt, Irana Douer, Catherine Campbell, Lilly Piri, Amy Earles, Eric Thomas Bostrom, Joao Ruas, Laura Laine, Jason Levesque aka Stuntkid, Fumi Nakamura, Travis Louie, and Liza Corbett. Audrey has announced she will have quite a few drawings available (about a dozen). More photos after the jump.

Seen above is a piece that Audrey is drawing on what appears to be wood. To own one of those would almost seem as good as a painting. The one below is from Amy Sol (seems she has had several tsunami themed pieces recently).
