A couple weekends ago, The Hole in conjunction with non-profit organization Redu called upon a diverse collection of artists to help shine a much needed light on the increasingly strained American school systems by donating their talents to raise money for educational reform. Aptly dubbed RE:FORM School, the show brought together an eclectic array of contemporary and street artists, including Shepard Fairey, Faile, WK Interact, Mel Kadel, Ron English, Greg Lamarche, Gary Baseman, Chris Johanson, SWOON, Friends With You, Jim Houser, TrustoCorp, Ryan Bubnis and Elbow Toe. With all the proceeds going to such an worthy cause, we thought we’d spotlight the exhibit again, along with some of the work that was turned out for the show. Please enjoy photos of the opening and closing of a star studded night of fun and entertainment. Similarly, check out some of the available work and don’t hesitate to contact the kind folks organizing the event for purchase inquiries.
Check out pics from Joe Russo from the opening as well as the closing party with The Root’s Questlove and Black Thought after the jump…
