Last week in Bangkok, Felipe Pantone unveiled an immersive installation at the Siam Center entitled W3-DIMENSIONAL Park. For his first showing in Thailand, the Argentinian-Spanish artist created a sculptural representation of his special form of glitch effects and optical art that transports viewers into the digital world. The title of the piece references the three dimensional aspect of the World Wide Web (divs, tables, and iframes) and includes four original pieces that are part of some recent projects. Although in Miami for his now open show (covered), Vhils (interviewed) also has something going on for his fans at home. Tomorrow, December 5th at 4pm GMT, the Lisbon-based artist will be releasing some editions through the Underdogs Gallery webstore that celebrates one of his favorite public artworks (which has now been demolished) in the capital city. Hajime Sorayama x Dior – “Pre-Fall 2019 Menswear Show”

Thursday night in Tokyo, Hajime Sorayama took his signature fembots to the next level with a 39-foot-tall sculpture that took center stage for Dior’s pre-fall 2019 menswear show, towering over the laser-lit catwalk. Creative director Kim Jones’ second collection for the European luxury goods company follows in the artistic footsteps of his debut effort where he tapped KAWS to create a 32-foot-tall statue made of flowers for the Spring/Summer 2019 campaign. On December 9th (10AM CST), KAWS will be releasing his latest series of collectible figures through the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, the site of his shows in 2011 (covered) and 2016 (covered). Previews: Eric Haze – “360°” @ 16 Shibuya

Later tonight in Tokyo, Eric Haze (featured) will be opening a show at 16 Shibuya entitled 360°. Put on with support from HUF, the exhibition from the New York-based artist will include 10 new paintings and a series of archival design works from current and past collaborations with the streetwear company. Still rocking his iconic stars and arrows, the renowned graffiti and designer will also be creating an installation for the event. Discuss Eric Haze here.

This Saturday (December 1st), Giant Robot 2 will be opening another iteration of their long running annual show featuring artists creating works on Post-It notes (or some approximation of those ubiquitous sticky notes).
