Showing: “Lazarides Presents…” @ Lazarides (Rathbone Place)

Currently showing at Lazarides’ main location (Rathbone Place) is a group exhibition that will give fans an idea of what kind of shows are planned through 2013 with the gallery. Along with some vintage Banksy works, on display were also some sublime paintings form Conor Harrington, new work from Faile with a slight twist, a piece from newcomer Know Hope and more (full list here). Streets: Bumblebee & Zio Zielger / Branded Arts Block Party

This week’s Streets: World Roundup feature is headlined by a new mural (photo by Lois Stavsky) in New York City by Ron English, who worked overtime to finish it before Hurricane Sandy hit. Officially opening their doors just hours ago, Galerie Perrotin in Paris unveiled all new works from the NY-based KAWS in his highly anticipated solo Imaginary Friends. Tonight at the Thinkspace Gallery in Culver City, there will be showing from Kevin Peterson and Jacub Gagnon (interviewed). For his part, Peterson has brought a set of new works with him entitled Amended, all featuring his portraits of innocence, oftentime represented by children, superimposed over gritty of urban landscapes.
