Set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, JR’s (interviewed) latest film combines many facets of his artistic oeuvre like much of his work. Sam Wolfe Connelly’s second solo show at Roq La Rue opened on March 5th. And Here I Lay features several oil paintings that can be described as haunting with a touch of remorse. Long time AM friend Poesia launches 886 Geary Gallery this week with an exhibition by Filippo Minelli entitled Nothing To Say. French photographer and artist JR will be releasing a new lithograph print via Social-Animals.net on Tuesday, the 9th of December. The lithograph was produced at Idem Studio in Paris, and features one of the images taken during his recent Women Are Heroes project in Port of Le Havre, France (covered). Building on his successful collaboration with the NYC ballet earlier this year (covered), the print shows a ballerina sitting in a stack of iron containers.
