On the cover of this month’s New York Times Magazine is a special project prepared by JR (interviewed) for their Walking New York issue. Patrick Martinez x Kobe Bryant for BlackRainbow Magazine

French magazine BlackRainbow recently unveiled the cover of their latest issue featuring Kobe Bryant on the cover posed with the work of Patrick Martinez in the background. The basketball themed release (limited to 100 copies) can be purchased on BlackRainbow‘s Parisian flagship store and online. In it, Kobe can be seen in front of Martinez’s signature neon works as well as a large painting. VNA Magazine just announced the release info about their newest issue #29. With Cleon Petersen as their cover artist, they picked his hometown of LA to celebrate the launch. The event will be held at Subliminal Projects, this Valentines Day, Saturday Feb. 14th, between 6-9pm. This issue features an extensive report on Peterson and his violently bacchanalian work that echoes the brutality he sees in society. After a couple of months in the making, Escif just launched an Indiegogo campaign, raising funds for his upcoming book release.
