Openings: WK Interact – “WK/Act 4” (Pop-Up)

WK Interact recently launched his latest publication entitled WK/Act 4. This book houses works from 1989 to the present day and spans 25 years of the French born/Brooklyn based artist’s storied career. VNA magazine just revealed the contents and the look of the limited edition of their newest issue #27 that will be available tonight at the official release party @ StolenSpace in London. Our regular readers will know what we have been enamored with the work of Tauba Auerbach for quite some time now. One of New York-based artist’s projects that we have been following (NY Book Fair, release, launch party) is her amazing [2,3] Pop-up Book. The slip-cased collection of six portfolios, feature intricately folded paper forms that seamlessly transform into three-dimensional geometric scuptures when open. On the afternoon of Saturday, May 31, FriendsWithYou celebrated the release of their We Are FriendsWithYou book, published by Rizzoli. Chicago-based artist Alex Lukas recently released a new self-published art book in the form of SAIII, JS, JT. The 56-page book contains a selection of different print mediums including color and B&W photocopy with risograph pages, with a number of fold-out spreads.
