Releases: Nuart Festival 2016 Box Set

In collaboration with Nuart Gallery (former Reed Projects), Nuart Festival has released an exclusive series of signed limited edition prints to support this year’s event. The box set consists of a total of 14 prints measuring 12” (30 x 30cm), one from each of this year’s participating artists. Each box set consists of 6 gicleé and 8 hand-pulled screen prints, giving a chance for collectors to own part of Nuart history while helping to fund the festival. Releases: James Jarvis x Case Studyo – “AMPHORA” Vase

Case Studyo recently added a new product to their rapidly expanding line of artist collaborations with something they worked on with James Jarvis (interviewed). AMPHORA is a limited edition (run of 100) vase that features one of the British artist’s recognizable cartoon characters that is a play on the title of the piece (derived from the Greek “ampiphoreus” meaning “bearer”). On August 30th, the second street art biennale ARTMOSSPHERE opened its doors at Moscow Manege. Introducing 26 Russian and 42 international artists whose practice was and/or is shaped by street art, the show is definitely unique in its size and concept. Tomorrow night (September 15th) in New York, Daniel Arsham will be opening a show at Galerie Perrotin entitled Circa 2345. Currently in Brussels, Isaac Cordal’s show entitled La Comédie humaine is on view at La Médiatine. The series of sculptures and installations continues to document the lives of the little cement businessmen that the Spanish artist is known for, mirroring his work on the streets. It’s always interesting so see how the sculptor from Galicia uses the indoor space as he is able to expand on his public art with larger scale installations that further explore his satire and commentary on politics, bureaucracy, power, and environmental issues. A couple weeks ago, POW! WOW! Worcester welcomed in artists from 8 different countries as well as locally from Massachusetts. In association with the event, there were gallery shows and other activities, but the main draw was the live painting (like in other POW! WOW! events around the world).
