Upcoming: Joe Ledbetter // IKEA Art Event 2018

Joe Ledbetter recently revealed images of his upcoming collaboration with IKEA featuring his iconic Mr. Bunny character. The limited edition glass rendition of his famous furry friend was created with the help of  the Målerås glass factory in southern Sweden and will be part of the IKEA Art Event, the fourth of its kind (seen 2017’s event featuring posters). Previews: Ludo – “I’ve Been Missing You” @ Magda Danysz (Paris)

On June 17th, Ludo (interviewed) will be opening a new show at the Paris location of Magda Danysz. The prolific street artists is often on the road so this exhibition entitled I’ve Been Missing You reflects his feelings for his hometown. Along with pieces featuring his distinctive “Nature’s Revenge” theme as well as signature green tint, this show will also feature an an installation made up of an army of fireflies whose phosphorescent light dazzles and envelops while questioning the relationship between men and technology. Previews: Collin van der Sluijs & Super A – “Back and Forth” @ First Amendment Gallery

Tonight (June 8th) in San Francisco, First Amendment Gallery will be opening a joint show from Collin van der Sluijs and Super A. Entitled Back and Forth, the exhibition features collaborative works from the Dutch artists (something they have done often on the streets) as well as individual works. Super A’s paintings feature a dark sense of humor while wander Sluijs’ painting are more loose and free-flowing. Take a look at more preview images below (first five are collaborations). Releases: Jeff Soto – “The Gardener” Print

While in town for his gig poster and print retrospective (covered), Jeff Soto (interviewed) has also released a new limited edition from Industry Editions in Austin.
