Releases: Robert Longo Supreme Decks

Robert Longo, whose stunning new exhibition God Machines just opened in Paris (covered), also has another project that is nearing completion. Continuing their illustrious line of collaborative artist skatedecks (also see John Baldessari, Damien Hirst, Christopher Wool), Supreme will be be releasing three versions with some of Longo’s iconic imagery. The decks will be available in-store and online April 7th and available in Japan on April 9th. More looks at the decks after the jump…

San Francisco’s Electric Works recently released a great new print by Mario Martinez aka Mars-1 (featured). The edition, entitled Infinite Tapestry, is a silkscreen print using florescent UV inks on black velvet-flocked paper. Releases: Zevs Liquidated Logo T-Shirt @ SLAGS

The site Secret Little Art Geeks (SLAGS), which has collaboratively produced limited edition T-shirts with such artists as John Baldessari, Curtis Kulig and Greg Lamarche, has just released a new shirt. Although cryptically listed on the site as being by “Anonymous,” the tee is in fact by the infamous French street artist Zevs (currently showing in New York), and features one of Zevs’ signature liquidated Chanel logos. It’s available for $35 here.

Set to release online at a random time tomorrow, March 24th, is Shepard Fairey’s (featured) new print, Dark Wave / Rising Sun. Although the image may be a little foreboding for some collectors’ taste, the proceeds do go to a good cause – the relief efforts in Japan. The run will be 700, size 18″ x 24″, and priced at $60. Despite being imprisoned last time he was in Japan and forbidden to return, David Choe (featured) still has love for the Land of the Rising Sun. This new print (limited to 88) entitled “Red Moon” will be released today at 6 pm PST at Trapeze Editions with 100% of the proceeds going to the relief efforts in Japan.
