Teaser: Ana Bagayan “Flutter” @ Mondo Bizzarro Gallery

Following on from her recent showing with Roq La Rue Gallery in Seattle last year (covered), the talented Ana Bagayan’s next exhibition, “Flutter” opens on Saturday, May 8th at Mondo Bizzarro Gallery in Rome. This will be Ana’s first overseas showing, and promises a captivating series of oil paintings and drawings. The painting pictured above is the title piece for the show. Take a look at a couple of close up views and breathe in the beautiful detail after the jump.

Teaser: Kukula – “Sugar and Blood” @ Dorothy Circus Gallery

Kukula is prepping for an upcoming show at Rome’s Dorothy Circus Gallery entitled “Sugar and Blood”, which opens on June 17th. Not since her last show “Immortal Artifacts” (previewed) have we seen her in a solo. For now, nibble on this little teaser… Discuss Kukula here.

Teaser: Chloe Early @ Corey Helford Gallery

The last we saw Chloe Early (interviewed), she had just opened her solo show, “Clouded Apollo”, last November in the UK. Now, it looks like she has started working on her next show slated to open in October at the Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles. Teaser: Shepard Fairey Mural for Deitch Projects

The famed mural space on Soho’s Houston Street is about to cycle on to the next artist. The last time that we checked in on the location, Os Gemeos had created a masterful work of street art (featured). Teaser: JR – “Women Are Heroes” @ Galerie Springmann.Varol

French photographer and activist JR will be opening his first show in Germany soon at the newly opened Gallery Springmann.Varol (formed with AM contributor Selim Varol) in Duesseldorf. The exhibition will be another showing of JR’s project, “Women Are Heroes”, (previously seen in Paris and London), which is also the subject of his film recently nominated for the Golden Camera at the Cannes Festival. From what we hear, the famed street photographer will be preparing a sick wall installation of 128 of his signature “speaker-eyes” […]

Teaser: Karen Chau @ Sloan Fine Art

Coming in October, Karen Chau is set to make her debut with Sloan Fine Art and we’ve got special teaser images of some of the works that art going to be at the special Halloween showing. For those that may not immediately know the Chinese painter, look closer… You may recognize her style as she’s the creator of one of our favorite children’s cartoon Ni Hao, Kai-Lan currently on Nickelodeon. (Sorta reminds you of Hoho right?) Check out another image after the jump.

Spanish street artist Escif will be visiting the UK for a solo show at Pictures On Walls (POW) opening April 17th. As you can see from the image above, he’s already in town working on the streets in preparation for his “Around The Wall” show. Teasers: Charming Baker – “Stupid has a new Hero” @ New York Studio Gallery

Charming Baker has got things set for his solo debut in New York city at New York Studio Gallery in the Lower East Side. The show, “Stupid has a new Hero”, looks to showcase more of Charming’s brush work with his abrasively interesting subject matter. It opens up May 14th and runs only two weeks. Teaser: TrustoCorp – An Overt Display of Mischief and Mayhem

After spending all day scrambling to get your taxes out on time, swing by Brooklyn Brothers Gallery in the BK to celebrate Tax Day with the folks behind TrustoCorp (covered).  No official word out yet on what to expect, but from what we’ve heard, Trusto has got a pretty good party planned.  More info to come.
