We are sure you all remember this video from a while back where Paris Hilton endorses Anthony Lister’s (interviewed) work. The Australian artist, who opened a show last week, apparently had time to take that encounter and paint Hilton as a superhero. Turns out she loves it… Perhaps it will end up on her walls somehow? Last night marked the opening of Yoshitomo Nara’s solo show at Blum & Poe (previewed and teased). The show features a large scale sculptural installation, and a new series of paintings and drawings focusing on Nara’s signature pastel-hued girls. At the center of the exhibition was a prairie-style wagon installation by YNG, a collaboration between Yoshitomo Nara and Japanese design firm Graf.
