Ron English x Bigfoot x Jason Maloney Mural in Jersey City

Yesterday afternoon, one of our favorite contemporary pop artists, Ron English, along with west coast artists Bigfoot and Jason Maloney, injected a little extra life into downtown Jersey City. They blessed Hudson County Art Supply’s exterior wall in Jersey City, NJ with a huge, colorful, and collaborative mural.   It was a gorgeous day for painting. Murakami Guggenheim – Bilbao Video Tour

Shepard Fairey Video – CBS Sunday Morning

Street artist Shepard Fairey was featured in an awesome segment on CBS News Sunday Morning. The video features an in-depth interview, provides a look at his “Supply & Demand” retrospective at ICA Boston (covered), discusses his recent arrest (covered) and legal issues with the AP, and contains some great footage of a young Fairey from the documentary “Andre the Giant Has a Posse.” Note: There is a brief twenty second CBS commercial preceding the video. Marcel Dzama & Shepard Fairey x N.A.S.A.

Marcel Dzama recently collaborated with David Byrne on this video from N.A.S.A. featuring the track “The People Tree.” This isn’t Marcel’s first foray into the music field as he has done album cover work in the past for artists such as They Might Be Giants and Beck.
