Manifest Hope: DC – Art Contest

As previously mentioned (here), Manifest Hope will be making a pop-up gallery stop in Washington D.C. the weekend preceding the Presidential Inauguration:Â January 17th-19th. Much like its incredibly successful Denver predecessor, Manifest Hope: DC is offering a chance to participate in the show and exhibit their artwork besides renowned artists such as Shepard Fairey, Ron English, David Choe, and Gary Baseman. Continuing with our coverage of Basel Week Miami, AMÂ wanted to highlight another tantalizing find from the Scope/Art Asia fair: Wang Zhi Jie Wang Zhi Jie is a contemporary artist from China that wields a skillful brush and conjures up some very sexy and appealing imagery. He specializes in drawing “innocent girls” conducting what are perceived to be provocative actions.
