Streets: Escif & Ericailcane (Valencia)

Serial collaborator Ericailcane has instead opted to trade his Italian neighbor Blu for Spanish street art crusader Escif. Ironically, Blu and Escif collaborated together in Valencia on an impressive tandem mural back in July for Arquitecturas Colectivas. Quite clearly, the three artists share a tight bond and mutual respect for one another. With Escif’s recent efforts at the FAME and Nuart festivals, it’s hard to deny he more than belongs in the same sentence as the other two outdoor icons. This piece from several months […]

Streets: “______ capitalism?” (Norway)

Artists have been hard at work the past week getting up in Norway for the ______ capitalism? event put on by the NHH Norwegian School of Economics in close collaboration with the Nuart Festival. If you remember back in July, Eine was the first to paint a piece for the project, but others like M-City, Escif, Dolk, and Hyuro have joined in the fun to challenge the leading business school’s ideological foundations directly on their walls. The unlikely pairing of the street artists with the school […]

Streets: Eine in SF (Part II)

Who rocks the hardest? Apparently, Ben Eine does, among other things as he’s painting up San Fran in conjunction with his show that opened last weekend (covered). Not only was he working on his signature shutter typography all around town, he’s also was getting up select phrases.  Take a look at the video and more pics from Skate Legs Magazine after the jump…
