Releases: Josh Keyes – “Goliath” Print

It looks like Josh Keyes (interviewed) is getting ready to make available a print version of his Goliath painting, last seen at Banksy’s Dismaland. Release through Thinkspace, some of the proceeds from the new limited edition will go to benefit Born Free USA, a national animal advocacy nonprofit. Openings: Greg Simkins – “Beyond Shadows” @ KP Projects // MKG & Launch LA

Last month, KP Projects // MKG in West Hollywood hosted the opening for the latest solo from Greg “Craola” Simkins (featured). Entitled Beyond Shadows, the new pieces continue the locally-based artist’s surreal explorations of hybrid creatures rendered in a vivid palette. On Monday, June 6th at 6PM CEST (12PM EDT), Escif will be releasing a new limited edtion via Elsewhere.es. The new lithograph is titled Cesta Con Fruta (Basket With Fruit) and will be released in an edition of 120 pieces. Last month, Felipe Pantone visited Paris in order to create his contribution to the ongoing Lasco Project curated by Hugo Vitrani for Palais De Tokyo. Following the work from Stelios Faitakis, Olivier Kosta-Théfaine, Philippe Baudelocque, JR and Os Gemeos for the project, the prolific Argentinian-born artist and his team painted an impressive installation in the tunnel of the A86 Duplex, between Rueil-Malmaison in Vélizy, west of Paris. Victoria Miro in London is currently hosting a new exhibition by multidisciplinary artist Yayoi Kusama. Spanning the gallery’s three locations and waterside garden, the exhibition features new paintings, pumpkin sculptures, and immersive room experiences, all made especially for this showing.
