Towards the end of 2013, D*Face (interviewed) and Shepard Fairey (featured) joined forces to paint two large murals (covered) on the side of a building in Malaga, Spain. Fast forward to the end the month and the city in southern Spain will see D return with his first museum exhibition at the CAC Malaga entitled Wasted Youth. Following the success of the 2014 exhibition Futurismo Ancestral: An Offering to Peru by Sixe Paredes (covered), the collaborative arts organization Approved by Pablo curated a new exhibition entitled Mapping The City in London, running until 15 February. Over 50 internationally recognized artists from the street art and graffiti scene including took over the New Wing of Somerset House to share their knowledge of each city’s secrets and urban landscape through a variety of media from illustrations, paintings, sculptures, installations and videos. Over the weekend, the Known Gallery in Los Angeles hosted the opening for an exhibition from Dennis Morris, a UK-based photographer especially known for his work in the music industry. This particular showing focuses on his iconic shots of Bob Marley, a seminal period of time in his young career when he toured with the Jamaican singer-songwriter.
