For those waiting patiently for the next Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed) print release, your patience will be rewarded this Sunday, February 27th, if you are quick enough. “She Entwined”, from her recent set of shows in Australia (covered), will be in an edition of 300 (unframed $200 & framed $460) and released as usual on her webshop at 1:00pm pacific time (more details here). Now that her whirlwind tour and shows in Australia are over, it appears Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed) is starting to work on her next series of paintings. After her Melbourne opening, Audrey Kawasaki’s (interviewed) continued on to Sydney for the second part of her “Tangled” tour at the Outre Gallery locations. Our friends at Hi-Fructose will be releasing their Hi-Fructose Collected Edition Vol. 2 tomorrow (November 4th, 6:30 – 8:30 pm) at the SFMOMA. There will be limited edition box sets and hardcover editions saved especially for this event, but even more exciting is that there will be an artist signing including appearances by Audrey Kawasaki, Camille Rose Garcia, Ferris Plock, Amy Sol, and Mars-1 as well as founders/editors Annie Owens and Attaboy. Last Friday night, Audrey Kawasaki’s (interviewed) started her set of exhibitions in Australia with a strong showing in Melbourne at the Outre Gallery.
