Preview: Kris Kuksi – “Pneumatic” @ Roq La Rue

Master mixed media cut chemist, Kris Kuski, is set to reveal a new body of work in Seattle tonight, the first since showing at Art Basel Miami (covered) last December. Opening at Roq La Rue, Pneumatic will exhibit the Kansas-based artist’s talents through his signature remixing of found objects and model components (thousands in most cases!) into his self-dubbed “post industrial rocco” sculptural assemblages. Matthew Feyld seems to be a regular on flights between Canada and Sweden of late. After two solo exhibitions and a residency at Krets in Malmö, and a solo and residency at Neon in Brösarp last year, Feyld is taking on the curation of the forthcoming group exhibition at Krets – Family Shirt. The Gabriel Orozco exhibition at London’s Tate Modern has been on since mid-January. AM is a fan of both the artist and this diverse yet cohesive show, curated by Jessica Morgan and Iria Candela. Releases: Robert Longo Supreme Decks

Robert Longo, whose stunning new exhibition God Machines just opened in Paris (covered), also has another project that is nearing completion. Continuing their illustrious line of collaborative artist skatedecks (also see John Baldessari, Damien Hirst, Christopher Wool), Supreme will be be releasing three versions with some of Longo’s iconic imagery.
