Openings: Faile x Vice Party @ Wythe Hotel

Several weeks ago, we shared some photos with you from a new installation by FAILE (featured) in the heart of Brooklyn – 104 N 7th. Commissioned by VICE and 42Below, the entire building facade at 104 N. 7th was covered with ceramic tiles that brought back memories of their ambitious Faile Temple installation (covered) in Portugal back in 2010. The project was part of a new VICE documentary, Art Talk with FAILE, which we also shared with you but there was also a party at the new […]

The other two finalists were Faile and The Heads Of State. See their designs after the jump…

Last weekend, the outdoor fields and indoor hanger Pima Art and Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona were the venues for the hand-painted vintage planes of The Boneyard Project: Return Trip. While the the DC Super 3 planes painted by How & Nosm, Nunca, and Retna, a C97 cockpit by Saner, a C45 plane by Faile, and a Lockheed VC 140 Jetstar by Andrew Schoultz were already stunning enough as centerpieces of the exhibition, when you include the nose cones, cockpits, and other plane segments painted […]
