On Tour: Mark Warren Jacques & Seth Neefus – “Free Life Centre”

Free Life Centre is a touring art installation and performance space conceived and constructed by artists Mark Warren Jacques (interviewed) and Seth Neefus. Setup / Preview: Herakut @ Gallery Springmann.Varol

According to our friends at Galerie Springmann.Varol, the street art tandem of Hera and Akut are already on site setting up their new show opening June 11th. Not only will the exhibition feature fantastic paintings from  Herakut (interviewed), it looks as though there will be some exquisite sculptural work as well, bringing to life the creatures and imagery from their canvases. Preview: Souther Salazar Installation for Fumetto Festival

Souther Salazar recently put together a pretty dope installation piece for the upcoming Fumetto Festival in Switzerland (with an assist from Monica Choy). As you can see from his other installs for recent shows in New York & Los Angeles, Souther is quite skilled at creating these whimsical mixed media pieces that seem to jump straight out of one of his paintings. Openings: Yoskay Yamamoto – “Tell Me A Story” @ LeBasse Projects

Opening in the project room at LeBasse Projects along with Yoshitaka Amano’s show was an installation from Yoskay Yamamoto (interviewed). Entitled “Tell Me A Story”, the hanging sculptures were reminiscent of the piece from his solo show last May. Banksy – “Exit Through the Gift Shop” Lambeth Palace Special Screening
