Addam Yekutieli aka Know Hope recently released a new edition of self produced, hand-crafted necklaces titled The Confidant featuring his iconic bird symbol as a pendant. This was the first release of this kind that the Israeli artist has ever done, and the result is a lovely piece of jewelry wrapped in unique, carefully designed packaging. As we previously reported, since May 26th, Die Kunstagentin gallery in Cologne, Germany has been hosting a solo by Addam Yekutieli aka Know Hope. For this showcase, the Tel-Aviv-based artist created an all new body of work strongly influenced by the refugee crisis. We recently got an update from solidARTy.org that they are started another round of charity art auctions on their website. The project launched back in November by auctioning artworks donated by artists, galleries and studios, with 100% of the proceeds going to AreYouSyrious.org organization. So far they have raised over €20,000 for the cause and are now continuing their efforts by offering more original and rare, editioned work by world renowned street, urban and contemporary artists. About month ago we introduced the new charity art auction website solidARTy.org. After a successful launch and donations by many artists from around the globe, the project seems to be growing bigger and better by the day. Adding new works on daily basis, they recently successfully auctioned works by artists like Sandra Chevrier, Isaac Cordal, Fintan Mage, Martin Whatson, and Fintan Switzer. The Brandalism project started in 2012 in London when two friends, sick of the visual pollution of their city, spent five days reclaiming 36 billboards in five cities in the UK. On Friday, October 16 (6-8pm), Catinca Tabacaru Gallery in New York will be opening the first solo exhibition with the gallery by Know Hope aka Addam Yekutieli. Empathy will be featuring the works by the Israeli artist from his ongoing project previously seen in Tel Aviv (covered).
