Preview/Setup: “Willoughby Windows” presented by Ad Hoc Art

Twelve different storefronts from 89 to 106 Willoughby Street in Brooklyn are being transformed by over fifteen artists as part of the “Willoughby Windows” project. Presented by Ad Hoc Art in conjunction with the MetroTech Business Improvement District, the exhibition showcases the beautification project in place to bring life to the twelve empty storefronts on this block. This past weekend, Logan Hicks and Broken Crow (Mike Fitzsimmons & John Grider) opened their “drive-by” show “Broken Horse” for a packed Brooklyn house. Held in a unique venue that once housed the Hamilton Savings & Loan, the art was really the draw. Stencil sensations Logan Hicks and Broken Crow (Mike Fitzsimmons & John Grider) took some time do an interview with AM for their upcoming “drive-by” show “Broken Horse.” The much anticipated urban stencil show will be held in an awesome venue that was once the Hamilton Savings & Loan in Brooklyn, opening tomorrow, May 1st, from 7-11pm.
