Our Streets: World Roundup returns this week with this collaborative mural from Serbian twins Sobekcis and Zoer at the top of the list. The wall was painted on the westside of Copenhagen on a street called Sdr. Boulevard. Thanks for Henrik Haven for the photo. The summary of last week’s street activity is headlined by this new mural from Aaron Martin (aka Angry Woebots) in Hawaii. The piece which is located in the kaka’ako district at the UFC Gym (BJ Penn) in Honolulu was painted in preparation for the upcoming POW WOW event. Streets: World Roundup (July 2 – 8)

We start off this week’s look at street activity with this new mural from Mear One (interviewed) in Lincoln Heights as reported by LA Taco. The mural, which features the LA-based artist’s post-apocalyptic imagery, was commissioned by Tee Shirt Spot and is located on Pasadena Avenue. Streets: Flying Fortress x Nychos (Detroit)

It looks like the Detroit Beautification Project is still rolling along with this newest mural, a collaboration between Flying Fortress and Nychos. If you remember, the Germany and Vienna-based artists (respectively) have hooked up before (Dublin & Vienna) for a synergistic brand of imagery. Streets: Flying Fortress x Nychos (Dublin)

Last weekend in Dublin, Flying Fortress and Nychos collaborated on a sweet mural for the All City Tivoli Jam. This isn’t the first time the two have worked together if you remember the piece they painted several months ago in Vienna entitled “The Anatomy of Mother Bear Giving Birth” when FF visited his friend Austrian friend. This time around, the Fortress’ signature character is again dissected in Nychos’ distinctive style. Discuss Flying Fortress here.
