Releases: Inauguration Print – Shepard Fairey

Shepard Fairey’s new print made especially for Barack Obama’s inauguration is now available from the Inaugural Store. There are two versions unsigned for $100 (24 x 36″ numbered 1001-9999 with 8500 available), signed for $500 (24 x 36″ limited to 1000 with 750 available). Discuss Shepard Fairey here.

We recently came across this picture of Anthony Lister working on an etching for an upcoming release from Paper Monster scheduled for this month.Â No details yet as to the edition size, price, or even the image, but from the looks of it, the print will most likely be of the painting seen below that was shown by New Image Art at Art Basel week. Our friends over at OMG Posters have alerted us to a very nice set of screenprints entitled “Heartfelt Sentiments” that Upper Playground is releasing with Jeremy Fish. These four prints on wood are 11 x 14 and limited to 100 and are an affordable $200. This release seems to coincide with his show “Ghosts of the Barbary Coast” that opened recently … head over here if you are interested in purchase. More pics after the jump.

Mark Ryden teamed up recently with MOCA to release a limited edition silkscreen print entitled “Silence.” The print measures 28 x 22 inches and is a signed and numbered edition of 50 with 10 Artist proofs. “Meticulously crafted, printed on finely handmade paper from Bhutan, and carefully dyed and aged, the work is completed by two embossings created in the final processâ€”a beautifully hand-sculpted bee and the printerâ€™s chops into the corners.” The print will put you back about $6000 and supposedly only about 20 […]

Gallery 1988 is releasing a new mini print set in December featuring the work of Greg “Craola” Simkins. There will be 300 sets made of prints including “Winter’s Knight”, “Night Knight”, “White Knight” with a special 4th chase print that will be included in 50 of the sets randomly (17% chance). In response to all her loyal fans who participated but missed out in yesterday’s sold out print release of “She Who Dares” (previewed), Audrey is deliberating the possibility of bringing back the “timed release” print in an effort to get her work into the homes of her supportive fans.
