REMED x Okuda @ Campo Viejo Vineyards (Part II)

In 2013, Remed and Okuda collaborated on a sculpture in the vineyards of the winery Campo Viejo in La Rioja, Spain. Entitled A Bridge Between Sky and Earth, the installation which has become an icon for the wineries was recently repainted by the two artists in a colorful and vibrant palette. The fresh paint job will be used for the fourth limited edition label of Campo Viejo Art Series range signed by by the duo. Discuss REMED here. Discuss Okuda here.

This weekend marked the end of the unique Vision Art Festival that was held through the week in Crans-Montana resort in Switzerland. Remed currently has his second solo show, entitled Essence, showing at the David Bloch Gallery in Marrakech. The French artist is sharing his vision of the “essence” of the relationship between humans and divine, enriched by colourful symbols specific to the Moroccan culture, inspired by a trip to the North African country fifteen years ago, which remains a constant source of inspiration for him. This new edition features up top a new collaboration wall from SABER (interviewed) and ZES at the Artist & Craftsman Supply building in Los Angeles. Several days ago, a new art editions online shop, Draw A Line, was launched from Berlin. The main goal of this project is to create and sell limited art edition prints in collaboration with international artists, but also, telling a story about the artists and their work. Remed and Okuda recently got together for a joint project in Spain at the Campo Viejo vineyards. Along with a mural they worked on, the two Spanish artists also collaborated on several sculptures at the Logroño location including the sweet large scale piece seen above.
