It’s time for another Streets Roundup again as we look at walls around the world. Leading things off is an epic collaboration in Los Angeles arranged by Branded Arts at the Gabba Gallery between Dabs Myla, Rime, Persue, Nychos, and Askew (photo by Birdman). After revealing a new piece last month with strong placement from Invader in Paris, our Streets World Roundup feature returns with another piece playing with some nostalgic characters from childhood for most of us. This week’s look at public art around the world is headlined by this new piece (source) from Case (aka Andreas von Chrzanowski) in Frankfurt, Germany. Painted at the construction site for the future European Central Bank headquarters, the MaClaim crew member painted Pinnochio being manipulated by a pair of hands, making some sort of political statement. Streets: Joker / Shok-1 / Remi Rough (London)

There seems to be a whole lot of muralising going on around the Futurism 2.0 exhibition we previewed earlier this week with a host of out-of-town artists in London for the show (which opens on Thursday 27th September) such as Joker aka Jerry Inscoe from Transcend. Keep your eyes peeled for more action in the coming days. This collaboration between Joker, Shok-1 and Remi Rough works particularly well, and was completed over the last 2 days.

Leading off last week’s Streets: World Roundup is this amazing mural (seen above) painted over the course of a year by Josef Kristofoletti. The project was commissioned by the ATLAS Experiment at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research and was painted on the side of the ATLAS control room directly above the detector, near the Swiss-French border outside of Geneva by the Texas-based artist. Leading this week’s world roundup of street activity is this new mural from Specter (source). The storefront looks amazingly real and was painted for the Bushwick Five Points Festival in Brooklyn. This week’s featured wall for our street art roundup from around the world is a sweet collaborative piece between Austrian artist Nychos and the German-based old school legend Flying Fortress.
