Phil Frost Custom T Rex

Recently, Phil Frost posted up images of a new piece he finished featuring his intricate typographical patterns painted over a T Rex figures. Transferring his technique of layering his signature iconography over found objects onto this large custom, the NY-based artist has created a unique take on the Tyrannosaurus rex, made popular in recent times from the Toy Story movies. Screening: “Bumblebeelovesyou” @ Epic Lounge

This Sunday, August 19th, the Epic Lounge in Downey, California will be hosting a screening of Bumblebeelovesyou by Handi. As the title suggests, the short documentary is about local street artist Bumblebee. Also available for purchase will be a nice little limited edition release from the urban “beekeeper” entitled Bee Is For Ballerina in an run of 20 (spraypaint and watercolor on paper) for those interested. Streets: Walk & Talk Festival (Part II) – Liqen

Mexico-based street artist Liqen, who was just recently in upstate New York for the Wall Therapy Festival (covered), has traveled now to the Azores for the Walk & Talk Festival.  Vhils had already made his mark in San Miguel, and now Liqen has done the same with this surreal spaceship on the side of a building entitled Satellite Souleater.
