Releases: Okuda x Flamingo – Sunglasses

Spanish artist Okuda recently collaborated with Flamingo to design a pair of sunglasses featuring his distinctive aesthetic. The shaded spectacles (available here for 95.00€) feature the prolific street artist’s signature colors & patterns on the frames. Frieze Week London ’17 / Previews: KAWS @ Perrotin Gallery

Rules of Engagement, a joint show from Mark Jenkins (interviewed) and Rero, is currently on view at Wunderkammern and will run until October 28th. Release: Nick Walker – “Manhattan Bridge” Print

Nick Walker (interviewed) will have a new print entitled Manhattan Bridge on sale on Monday, 2nd October at 2.30pm GMT.  The print features the artist’s gentleman vandal character walking across the streets of NY looking at the Manhattan Bridge. The 12 colour silk print is produced in an edition of 99 on Somerset Velvet 300 gsm paper and sized at 74 cm x 95 cm. It will be available for £450 online here at the appropriate time. Showing: Jose Parla – “Mirrors” @ Brand New Gallery (Milan)

Last weekend, a new collection of works from Jose Parla was unveiled at Brand New Gallery in Milan entitled Mirrors. The fresh pieces featured less prominent roles for the his signature script and instead had a more collage feel to them through the incorporation of parts of posters ripped off the walls of Milan, Rome, Napoli, Matera, Bari, Lecce and Bologna. These richly textured offerings from the Brooklyn-based artist reflect on his travels in Italy as well as pays homage to several artists including Mimmo Rotella, Isidore Isou, Tristan Tzara, and Burhan Dogancay.
