RETNA x Jossie Ochoa Body Paint Project

Working with his muse, Jossie Ochoa, RETNA (featured) recently completed another project with the Guatemalan American model. With video and photography provided by The Golden Kingdom, the graffiti writer utilized his urban script for a body painting session. This was not their first collaboration as she was featured on RETNA’s billboards in West Hollywood, San Vicente and Sunset back in 2014 if you remember. After hosting couple of successful fundraising auctions, solidarty.org is back with another fund raising effort. On the 28th of December, they will be having a charity sale of previously unsold work along with newly donated pieces by world renowned urban and contemporary artists. The project was started in November 2015 with an idea to provide artists a platform through which they could sell their work for charity donations. Thomas Canto recently introduced his latest big project, the Illusory Perspectives installation at Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. This large installation continues his series of futuristic aesthetics-oriented works which combine urban and geometrical elements in an eclectic abstract form. Mixing painted patterns with actual objects and a grid of both lines and threads installed in the space, the French artist creates a multidimensional work that plays with observers’ perspectives.
