The first phase of the Dubai Street Museum project was recently completed with the participation of 12 international and local artists, producing 16 murals on themes drawn from the UAE’s history and heritage. Organized by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, and Dubai Municipality, this project seeks to highlight the UAE’s unique history, achievements and aspirations through public artworks. All Season Portfolio, a new solo show from Patrick Martinez, is set to open on January 14th at Charlie James Gallery in Los Angeles. The body of work he has prepared includes his signature hip hop inspired neon signage, his newer series of work satirizing Pee Chee Portfolios of our youth by replacing the athletes with victims and imagery of police brutality, and new mixed media stucco paintings. Vhils x GS1 Portugal | Center for Innovation and Competitiveness (Lisbon)

Vhils (filmed) recently finished a collaboration with the architects behind the new headquarters of GS1 Portugal | Center for Innovation and Competitivenes in Lisbon. For this project, the Portuguese artist’s unique mark marking skills were applied to the concrete slabs that make up the exterior of the building, giving the facade some abstract and textured imagery highlighted by elements of facial features. Addam Yekutieli aka Know Hope recently released a new edition of self produced, hand-crafted necklaces titled The Confidant featuring his iconic bird symbol as a pendant.
