Video: El Mac – “Kosoom by the Mekong” (Vietnam)

We last caught up with El Mac when he was collaborating with Augustine Kofie on a mural for the Pasadena Street Cred exhibition (covered). But, if you remember before that, we had featured his tour around the world where he dropped bombs on Dublin, Hawaii, Singapore, and Vietnam in August of 2010. Now, a sweet video has been recently released of part of that trip where he got up in Ho Chi Minh City. Discuss El Mac here.

Teaser: Kelsey Brookes @ Lazarides

After our last update on Kelsey Brookes (featured), it looks like he’s continuing to grow and expand his next body of work.  These paintings are destined for his a London show with Lazarides this coming November along with some new prints and sculptural pieces. Interviews: Neck Face @ Levi’s Workshop (MOCA)

Last Sunday, AM dropped by the Levi’s Film Workshop, where they were screening the trailer for Born Under a Bad Sign, a film in progress by artist Neck Face and director Isaiah Seret. The upcoming feature-length kung fu horror movie, starring the artist was filmed in his alleyway installation at MOCA’s Art in the Streets exhibition.
