After sharing some shots of the invasion of Hong Kong by tilemaster Invader last month, here are now some more documentation of his work in the streets for you to peruse. The French legend has now glued a total of 48 new pieces of his signature 8-bit imagery up in multiple locations, some in the most visible and busy spots in the Chinese metropolis. Last month, AM stopped by ZieherSmith in New York to take in the grotesque yet beautiful work of Allison Schulnik. Entitled Eager, the name of her newest stop-motion claymation film (which premiered on opening night), the exhibition featured paintings and sculptural works related to the film. Tessar Lo’s (featured) newest series oh, ou, ohh, o opened last Friday at Toronto’s Cooper Cole Gallery. British artist Phlegm opened his first ever gallery show at Howard Griffin Gallery in Shoreditch on Saturday, the first of February. The Bestiary is entirely a non-commercial exhibition meaning the entire installation was created for the purpose of showing in this space only.
