Previews: Lazarides Rathbone @ Art 14 (London)

Art14 London is set to open later this week and Lazarides Rathbone will be on hand to show their stable of artists in the second edition of the art fair. Included will be brand new works from Conor Harrington (with the exquisite piece seen above), Todd James, Miaz Brothers, Brett Amory, and JR. LA Art Show ’14: Ace Gallery

One of the first booths you saw on entrance to this year’s Los Angeles Art Fair was occupied by the ACE Gallery. The large booth was stocked with prime examples of work from many of the artists that show with them including Justin Bower (seen above), Laurie Lipton, Phil Frost, Date Farmers and more. Check out the rest of our coverage of the fair here.  

LA Art Show ’14: Littletopia

Last week when AM stopped by the LA Art Show, we made sure to pay a visit to the special Littletopia section curated by Red Truck Gallery. Featuring an array of artists and art that is seldom seen at the event, this part of the fair saw a healthy and steady stream of visitors. Participants included galleries like Sloan Fine Art, Breeze Block, La Luz de Jesus, Last Rites, Roq La Rue, Spoke Art, Thinkspace, and Varnish Fine Art. Basel Week Miami ’13: Audrey Kawasaki for Thinkspace @ SCOPE

Just like earlier last year for SCOPE during Basel Week Switzerland (covered), the Thinkspace Gallery booth in Miami was also featured a mini-solo show from Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed). Included in the new body of work were her familiar exquisite portraiture of seductively innocent girls, with her technique taking advantage of the wood grain in each piece.
