After taking part at this year’s Pow! Wow! Hawaii (covered), Know Hope is currently in New York City where he is setting up a mini solo show at the Scope Fair from the 6th until 9th of March. After showing her work at big art fairs in Singapore, New Delhi and Bruxelles, Katrin Fridriks (featured), is currently presenting her newest paintings at the ART 14 Fair in London. Art14 London is set to open later this week and Lazarides Rathbone will be on hand to show their stable of artists in the second edition of the art fair. Included will be brand new works from Conor Harrington (with the exquisite piece seen above), Todd James, Miaz Brothers, Brett Amory, and JR. One of the first booths you saw on entrance to this year’s Los Angeles Art Fair was occupied by the ACE Gallery. The large booth was stocked with prime examples of work from many of the artists that show with them including Justin Bower (seen above), Laurie Lipton, Phil Frost, Date Farmers and more. LA Art Show ’14: Littletopia

Last week when AM stopped by the LA Art Show, we made sure to pay a visit to the special Littletopia section curated by Red Truck Gallery. Featuring an array of artists and art that is seldom seen at the event, this part of the fair saw a healthy and steady stream of visitors. Participants included galleries like Sloan Fine Art, Breeze Block, La Luz de Jesus, Last Rites, Roq La Rue, Spoke Art, Thinkspace, and Varnish Fine Art. Yesterday, AM stopped by the 19th edition Los Angeles Art Fair at the LA Convention Center to see what the art world had to offer. Basel Week Miami ’13: Audrey Kawasaki for Thinkspace @ SCOPE

Just like earlier last year for SCOPE during Basel Week Switzerland (covered), the Thinkspace Gallery booth in Miami was also featured a mini-solo show from Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed). Included in the new body of work were her familiar exquisite portraiture of seductively innocent girls, with her technique taking advantage of the wood grain in each piece.
