Murals: The Draculas @ ETA Agency

We first got turned on to the work of The Draculas during this year’s POW! WOW! Hawaii where they painted an amazing and surreal campfire scene. The Southern California-based duo, comprised of Gary Musgrave and Jeff McMillan, recently painted mural for the ETA Agency in Long Beach featuring a seaside city rampage kaiju battle. Releases: James Jean – TMNT Villains Figures

Following up on the first phase of his  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration with Good Smile in 2014 (covered), James Jean (interviewed) will be releasing some of the villains from the cartoon series, films, and comic books. The Japanese manufacturer of hobby products is teaming up with Nickelodeon and Jean to design new collectible versions of Shredder, Bebop, Rocksteady and Krang. ComplexCon ’16: First Look

This past weekend, our friends at Complex held their first ever “pop culture world fair” in Los Angeles and it was pretty spectacular. Streets: Inter|Urban project (Cleveland)

Jasper Wong from POW! WOW! recently joined forces with Fred Bidwell from Transformer Station as curatorial team for the INTER|URBAN public arts program 2016. This original project is working on transforming Cleveland’s public transit rail system into a large-scale public art experience. Through artwork that can be enjoyed on their commute, this program seeks to challenge public transit riders emotionally and intellectually, while making physical and cultural connections to their surroundings.
