Over the weekend, art fans in Los Angeles saw the return of Kazuki Takamatsu and his gradient map textured portaiture in a new show entitled Spiral of Emotions. Exhibiting at CHG Circa (see 2013 at the sister gallery), the Japanese artist brought with him a new set of glowing paintings featuring ghostly silhouettes of children and adolescents, often intermingled with symbols of death and violence. After visiting South hemisphere (covered), Phlegm is back in Europe and back to painting more exceptional murals. Recently he visited Sweden, and took part in the ongoing Artscape festival happening in Malmö. As previously announced, Mexican artist Favio Martinez aka Curiot, opened his first solo show in his hometown of Mexico City at Fifty24Mx Gallery on the 14th of June.
