It looks like Shepard Fairey (featured) has created a new print as a tribute to Ai Weiwei ahead of the Chinese artist’s show opening soon at the Brooklyn Museum. Streets: Shepard Fairey (NYC)

When in New York City the old adage is true – “Go big or go home.” In the latter half of 2013, Shepard Fairey visited the Big Apple for the Wooster Collective anniversary show (covered) where he stayed for a while to share his brand of visual beautification. Mr. Spray himself worked alongside a great group of street artist, to give back to the DUMBO district (featured) in Brooklyn. The result of his work was a beautiful large scale mural over 40 feet high. But that wasn’t […]

Two familiar names in street art, Shepard Fairey (featured) and D*Face (interviewed), united their efforts to paint two massive walls on the side of a building in Malaga, Spain recently. The seven story tall murals next to CAC Malaga were painted on an invite from Maus Málaga as well as from the museum and were representative of both the American and UK-based artist’s styles. Take a look at more in-progress and shots from different angles below… Photos via the artists. Discuss Shepard Fairey here. Discuss D*Face here.

Take a look below as the hard work of Julian Marshall, a student at Shep’s alma mater RISD, and his friends is finally realized. Discuss Shepard Fairey here.
