Serial collaborator Ericailcane has instead opted to trade his Italian neighbor Blu for Spanish street art crusader Escif. Ironically, Blu and Escif collaborated together in Valencia on an impressive tandem mural back in July for Arquitecturas Colectivas. Quite clearly, the three artists share a tight bond and mutual respect for one another. The Spanish-born twins How & Nosm arrived in Los Angeles nearly 2 weeks before their next solo show entitled Achtung!, which opens on October 15th at the Known Gallery. Several weeks ago, showing alongside Dylan Egon, the The Art Army Royalty of Michael Leavitt (interviewed) were on full display at New York’s Jonathan LeVine gallery. The solo show was made up entirely of Michael’s signature sculptural tributes to artists featuring a melding of their eerily accurate portraits and features of their work. Last week, the artist collective known as Cyrcle. (featured) painted a mural in the midst of Culver City, California. Keeping the same theme of We Never Die, which was highlighted during their solo show a couple months ago, the group showed that they can smoothly move from the gallery space to the streets and back.
