Fans came out by the hundreds and waited for hours in a line that stretched down La Cienega Blvd. to check out artist and designer KAWS’ latest solo exhibition entitled, “The Long Way Home,” which opened last night at Honor Fraser. On the eve before his solo show at Honor Fraser, KAWS kicked things off with, “I Can’t Feel My Face,” a VIP party and art exhibition at Culver City’s Japanese-style maid cafe Royal/T. The segment features an in-depth interview, gives an inside look at Pharrell Williams’ amazing collection, and provides an overview of Kaws’ career, past and present. It looks like KAWS will be making a trip to the west coast in February for his show at LA gallery Honor Fraser. Entitled “The Long Way Home,” this exhibit (opening Feb. 21st) will feature new paintings, sculptural works, and an installation.
