Releases: Luke Chueh – “Jack” Figure

After the first appearance of Luke Chueh’s (featured) sculptural version of his classic Jacked painting from 2005 at one of his shows in 2013 (covered), fans have been wondering when some limited edition iterations would be released. Well, the time is now with preorders open for Jack, a 22 x 13″ cast resin figure in beautiful gloss white with silver chrome antlers. Produced in a run of 10 and priced at $2000 from Pretty in Plastic, it is now available here for collectors who are interested. Discuss Luke Chueh here.

Just in time for the holidays, FriendsWithYou has teamed up with Lladró to release a set of ornaments and tree toppers featuring their lovable characters. Priced at $165, the beautifully designed porcelain pieces from the Spanish company are hand made and can be purchased online here. After a couple of months in the making, Escif just launched an Indiegogo campaign, raising funds for his upcoming book release. Elsewhere is a hardcover book that is set to be released in February 2015, in an edition of 1000 pieces, each hand-finished and signed. The book will be focused on his last five years – from mandatory murals and interventions around the world, to sketches, drawings, ideas, feelings, recipes, deep secrets and everyday life thoughts. We just received these images from Idem Studio in Paris showing Ludo (interviewed) adding final touches to his upcoming lithograph (edition of 99), set to be released Thursday, 11th of December with PrintThemAll studio. The title is 344, and is one of the butterflies he introduced at his recent London solo at Lazarides (covered). Releases: Ben Eine – “URBAN [E]” Cubes

The UK-based Ben Eine recently released a novel new three-dimensional art object that allows fans to add a unique representation of his typography to their collection. The limited edition cubes come signed and are presented in concrete, metal and wood, measuring 12 x 12 x 12 cm. French photographer and artist JR will be releasing a new lithograph print via Social-Animals.net on Tuesday, the 9th of December. The lithograph was produced at Idem Studio in Paris, and features one of the images taken during his recent Women Are Heroes project in Port of Le Havre, France (covered). Building on his successful collaboration with the NYC ballet earlier this year (covered), the print shows a ballerina sitting in a stack of iron containers. Releases: Jim Houser – “Fusillade” Print

Philadelphia-based artist Jim Houser recently released a new print through Contemporanea in Spain entitled Fusillade. The name of the five color screen print is certainly appropriate as it features a cloud of arrows (some hand painted) that is often seen in Houser’s pieces as well as his installations. Measuring 16 x 16″ with a 1″ border, it comes in an edition of 50 (10 APs) and available here for those interested. Discuss Jim Houser here.

Basel Week Miami ’14: Barry McGee Signing @ NADA Beats Booth

While visiting the NADA fair (more on that later), we stopped to take a look at the signing session at a special booth from Barry McGee for fans that purchased his limited edition Beats Pill. One of the releases coinciding with Basel Week Miami is this wicked project between Maya Hayuk and DJ / producer Sid Vaga.
