We just heard back from Ludo, (interviewed) who is still in Bangkok putting up works around the Thai capital and shooting a video for his upcoming solo show in the UK, all while fighting the hot humid weather. Gamma Transport Division has been bringing a healthy mix of graffiti-based exhibitions over recent months to the city of Edinburgh. Their latest show features London-based artist O.Two, also known as James Carey. French art collective and graffiti crew, Da Mental Vaporz aka DMV recently opened their show on the 26th of May at BC Gallery. WK Interact (featured) recently visited Belgium to participate in the Independent Arts Festival in Sint-Niklaas. Showcasing his talents of visual motion for the lucky passerby’s, the French-born & Brooklyn-based artist created a massive 22 by 9 meters at the Stadsschouwburg Stad. Ludo (interviewed) recently took off for Asia for the first time, and is currently in Thailand where he is experiencing the bustling and chaotic life in Bangkok. Along with undergoing the eclectic mix of new things and experiencing life outside the references and markers he grew up with, he is also creating some new street work in Thai capital. Brooklyn-based artist Dan Witz recently opened a show consisting of a fresh series of paintings at Jonathan LeVine Gallery. Entitled NY Hardcore, this exhibition featured a new body of work that utilized his skills of old master painting techniques depicting hyper-realistic subjects. Members of the French street-art collective Da Mental Vaporz are currently in Berlin, working hard on their upcoming collaborative exhibition, The Wall, opening on the 26th of May at BC gallery.
