American artist Tauba Auerbach is opening a solo show on Friday, August 30 at STANDARD (OSLO), Norway. After recently exhibiting in Brussel, Malmö, and Bergen, the artist is showing in Europe again. This is her third solo exhibition at STANDARD (OSLO) as a part of their ongoing program of cultural exchange between Norwegian and international artists. Australian artist duo Dabs Myla, opened their latest solo show on the 17th of August at White Walls Gallery in SF (previewed). With the concept being more of “an intimate installation” than just a show, the artists turned part of a gallery into an immersive experience. Ukrainian artists and muralist Waone and Aec, known as Interesni Kazki, recently took part in the LGZ Moscow project where they worked on two separate surrealistic murals. Waone did a piece called Flying & Crawling mind at Lublinskaya Str.3, while Aec worked on his Time Machine mural in Sadovnicheskaya Str. 78, Moscow. French artist Ludo (interviewed) was recently in the US, visiting and working on both coasts. The artist arrived to New York City to take part in the 10 Years of Wooster Collective show (covered), as well as work on a new print (seen below) he is releasing with Paper Monster. American artist David Choe (featured) has spent the last several weeks working on his exhibition opening August 17th at the Museo Universitario del Chopo. Jim Houser Mural @ Elixr Coffee (Philadelphia)

Philly-based painter, Jim Houser, recently worked on an indoors mural at Elixr Coffee in Philadelphia, as a part of their art program. While his works are showing in couple of group shows at the moment, Jim worked on his piece for couple of days, painting an image based on a small family portrait that is hanging in his son’s room.
