Thinkspace gallery made a move into Culver City last month, and as one gallery leaves to take a step up, another moves in to fill it’s boots. Tom French is a young artist whose work we’ve been enjoying for a little while. A regular contributor to group shows in and around London and the UK, we saw Tom’s fantastic “Cowboy Balance” series of works available at Urban Angel recently and got in touch to go take a look at his work for ourselves at his studio up in Newcastle, UK. Installation: Agents of Change @ “Future Everything” Festival (Manchester, UK)

It seems that Agents of Change have gone large again as part of the “Future Everything” Festival. If you didn’t catch the live stream of the AoC’s latest project up in Manchester over the last few days, check out this trailer video produced by the collective documenting some of the installation. Our friends from the Corey Helford Gallery brought their West Coast Style to the West Country this evening for the much anticipated opening of “Art From The New World” at the Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery. Following on from our preview last month, Corey Helford Gallery will open “Art From the New World” at Bristol’s City Museum and Art Gallery in the UK this weekend, and this time not even an act of god is gonna stop em! Originally scheduled to open a couple of weeks ago, the showcase of work by 49 American artists was scuppered by the Eyjafjallajökull volcano. The London book launch for Gestalten’s “Beyond the Street: The 100 Leading Figures in Urban Art” took place on Friday last week at Phillips de Pury’s Victoria headquarters to a healthy crowd and with a celebratory vibe. Many of the book’s contributors joined the editors of the book, Patrick Nguyen and Stuart Mackenzie, to toast the success of just how well this mammoth publication turned out.
