For those who enjoyed Candice Tripp’s (interviewed) twist on childhood myths and wives’ tales in August at the Carmichael Gallery, you will have to pay attention to her show opening at the Joshua Liner Gallery in November.Â With her unique composition and clever wit, we think art lovers in New York will welcome her first solo show in the States with open arms. NYC street artist Gaia, along with Angry Woebots, Deseo, Dia, Scribe and Mr. Jago will be featured in “Re-up”, a new group show opening tonight at Gallery 1988SF.Â Gaia was kind enough to send us some process pictures of the woodblock and screenprints that he’ll be exhibiting. “Rhetorics of Peace” (featured above) is one of four animal prints that consist of Gaia’s contribution.
