Coinciding with the Amsterdam Art Weekend, Grimm Gallery opened Dustin Yellin’s show 10Parts on November 25th. With a twenty-foot long modular glass landscape across ten panels as the showpiece, this is the American artist’s first solo exhibition with the gallery and will stay on view through the 7th of January. On December 10th, beinArt Gallery will be opening a new three person show entitled Myth and Mutation featuring the work of Adrian Cox, Christopher Ulrich, and Amanda Sage. James Jean Designs Facade Of Fair-Haired Dumbbell (Portlant)

The Portland Design Commission recently approved James Jean’s (interviewed) design for the facade of the Fair-Haired Dumbbell, a building currently under construction near Burnside Bridgehead in Portland. The Los Angeles-based artist’s imagery, inspired by roses and thunder eggs, will wrap the 8 sides of the two-building creative office project, and also cover the roof.
